Saturday 1st June 2013 – Featuring Hatful Of Rain

Hatful of rain

“British folk with Appalachian roots”

Hatful of Rain are a Bluegrass/Old time influenced British folk/roots band based in East Sussex. Playing original material, Hatful of Rain strive to combine powerful song-writing with musical virtuosity whilst retaining a strong traditional feel.  Their array of instruments include violin, mandolin and double bass.

There will also be floor spots, so come along and sing a song!  We’re really lucky to have a very high quality collection of regular performers who are as much part of the night as the guest act.

Doors 7.30pm, music starts at 8pm.  Come along at 7.30pm to put your name down for floor spots.  Entry is £3, all the door money goes to the guest act.
